The 15th International Conference on Biological Inorganic Chemistry (ICBIC 15) will be held from 07 Aug 2011- 12 Aug 2011 in Vancouver, Canada. The conference begins by having an evening reception on August 7th and can culminate on the evening of August 12th, 2011 having a memorable salmon BBQ at UBC’s famous Museum of Anthropology (MOA). In between those festivities, we’ll have a strong and varied program of plenary, session and contributed lectures, in addition to posters on display all week and featured in 2 early evening sessions.
We are delighted to become hosting ICBIC again within our beautiful city, 2011 being the “Jade Anniversary” from the initial international bioinorganic conference, commonly known as as ICBIC-zero, also held about the campus of UBC, in June 1976.
Plenary lectures will be presented by nine internationally recognized scientists, including SBIC Early Career Award winners in 2010 and 2011. We may have four or five parallel sessions every day with varied scientific topics for presentation; submitted oral and poster contributions will form a significant part of the scientific program. We may have a dynamic and engaging program prepared including significant speaking time allotted for submitted presentations.
We’re confident that ICBIC15 is a stimulating and exciting meeting within the tradition of past ICBIC conferences. You will discover ICBIC15 to be conducive to scientific exchange and also the city of Vancouver to become an enjoyable, vibrant which stimulates location.
Your participation within the conference is important to the success from the event – we eagerly await your submissions as well as your arrival!. You can go to visit http://icbic15.ubcconferences.com/ for more information.
