Last day, we ever posted about conference in Singapore, Nurs Nuh International Nursing Conference, now upcoming coming conference will be held in Singapore again with theme: PBL and the Problematization of Teaching and Learning. This symposium examines issues such as managing PBL classrooms; different philosophies and approaches to teaching; how educators/students assess learning; how to harness technology to enhance PBL. Pre-symposium workshops on 6 March 2012. This conference will be oraganized by Republic Polytechnic Singapore.
This conference is a gathering of passionate tertiary educators, PBL practitioners and researchers, mainly from the Asia Pacific region. Previous symposiums have included keynote speakers such as Professor Ronald Barnett, Professor Maggi Savin-Baden and Professor Henk Schmidt.
The 3 day event offers a platform for scholastic debates and intellectual stimulus on issues such as managing PBL classrooms, examining the effects of different philosophies and approaches to teaching, reflecting on how educators, students and the wider community conceive and assess learning; and how we can harness technology to enhance PBL. Pre-symposium workshops by keynote and invited speakers from diverse pedagogic background will also be held on 6 March 2012.
The symposium is going to offer good chances for researchers to share their research havings with colleagues from a wide array of countries and educational institutions.
