National Conference on Environment and Biodiversity of India

About EBI 2011, National Conference on Environment and Biodiversity of India, this conference will be held on 20th – 22nd December 2011 in New Delhi.

Researchers, academicians, students, conservationists, environmentalists, foresters and policy makers across the country are welcomed to be part of this conference. Exciting programme of lectures, panel discussions and poster presentations will be organized.

Floristic and faunal studies, Human-Wildlife Conflict, Climate Change, Biodiversity Conservation, Wetlands & Sacred Groves , Environmental Pollution, Endangered Species, Biogeography , Geoinformatics, Biodiversity Informatics, Ecosystems management , Sustainable development, GIS & Remote Sensing in Biodiversity Conservation, Ethnobiology and Traditional Knowledge, E-waste and Solid waste management, Himalaya and Western Ghats Biodiversity   Environmental laws & policies, Bioresource management, Wildlife Protected Areas Forest management, Modern trends in Plant & Animal taxonomy, Freshwater & marine ecosystem.


Abstracts must be written in English not exceeding 300 words (along with six keywords) typed in A4 size paper (MS Word). Abstracts should be submitted via e-mail to [email protected] on or before 30th September 2011. The abstracts will be reviewed by the programme committee for the selection of oral and poster presentation.

Oral presentation: 10 minutes (maximum duration)
Poster presentation:  Size of the poster should not exceed  120 cm (height) and 90 cm (width). Content of the poster should be readable from 1.5 m distance.
